About

I’m a software engineer at Microsoft and a graduate of DigiPen Institute of Technology, having earned a BS in Computer Science and Real-Time Interactive Simulation with a minor in Mathematics. Although I’ve had an interest in computers all my life, I became serious about computer science in my first year of college at Fordham University. I originally attended Fordham University with the intention of studying either Philosophy or Political Science. However, during my time there, I took up coding as a hobby and really enjoyed it. I switched my major to Computer Science, but Fordham’s CS courses weren’t as specialized or as rigorous as I would have liked. Initially, I planned to learn general CS from Fordham and practice more game-oriented programming in my free time. However, I ultimately decided to transfer to DigiPen to get a challenging and thorough CS education with a focus on making games. This focus on making games shifted to a focus on graphics programming which is what led to my current job at Microsoft.
